Also produced The Daily Buzz studios is another syndicated program, Life Love Shopping. It’s a fun, women’s lifestyle information (and product integration) program that’s tagged as “Your Daily Dose of Retail Therapy”.
This is quick introduction to the show, and answers the often-asked question, “What is The Daily Buzz? I’ve built it so that the clips are interchangeable and can be updated or built upon each quarter. It’s in use on our main site, the online sales one-sheets, and used by local stations to sell and promote the show to clients.
Here’s a quick spoof that my Creative Services team put together to air on The Daily Buzz ahead of the news about the new iPad Mini. Luckily, my producer/host Morgahn let us use her likeness and such for the spot. (note: We were able to produce this spot quickly, thanks in part to an amazing After Effects template project from videohive.net)
We’re all morning people here at The Daily Buzz (not really). While you’re up and getting ready, we’re keeping you informed and entertained. We’re like caffeine for your brain.
After wandering through target recently, I came across some of the toys for the latest Batman franchise movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Those movies, even at PG-13, are super mature and aimed much more adults – which is whay I found it so funny that the action figures for the movie are targeted for ages 4 and up. After buying up a bunch of Mattel toys and convincing the Taylors to let their son Joey (pretend to) swear, I’ve ended up with this sketch for this week’s The Daily Buzz.
I’ve always wanted to make a old-school toy commercial!
It started off one Easter sunday a few years ago, when I rolled on some footage of my adorable little girl hunting around our apartment in search of candy-filled eggs. Now it’s become an expected event, and each year Eliza gets wilder and more photogenic.
I just became part of the GoPro camera craze, and the first thing I did after getting the unit was to throw it in a Miami rooftop hotel pool with my little swimming buddy.
With the Fisher Communications version of GalTime.com (and partnering with The Daily Buzz), I created a series of online video promos (to be used as inline video or Flash based video ads). The general theme that the site’seditors wanted, is that GalTime is a place for women af all walks of life to talk about what’s real in their lives.
On a related note, here’s the launch promos for GT’s sister site, HeadDrama.com
My first big job as Promo Producer at KPRC in Houston was to produce a series of campaign spots to premier during the Superbowl. We rented a soundstage in downtown Houston, and went to work refreshing the Local 2 news team’s commitment to the community and news product. We eventually landed several Emmy nominations for the spots and campaign.
